Governance of Power Platform

Job description

As a Power Platform consultant, you will build solutions with a team of Delegates, but you will also have situations where you work with customers alone. Sometimes you will facilitate a clarification process with workshops and needs identification, other times you will have to be a solution architect or developer on the Power Platform possibly in collaboration with our Dynamics 365 or Sharepoint consultants. So, you must be able to work focused on the preparation of solutions, but also the ability to look more broadly at the customer's business and IT landscape.

Our customers are typically larger and medium-sized companies, and we alternate between co-creating with the customer's own employees or collaborating on actual projects where we have the responsibility for delivery. There will often be licensing relationships and interactions with other systems to take into account, so you need to be able to understand the context across different Microsoft solutions.

You must have experience developing Model driven and Canvas Power Apps as well as automation and digitalization of processes and flows with Power Automate. You have experience with integrations and connectors to other systems and data sources and can draw a solution description as well as estimate the duration of development and ongoing operating costs.

As a consultant, you will also have to advise customers on finding the right solutions and make the right choices.

Success criteria

Above all you must be a good colleague who takes pride in their work. We expect you to help your colleagues if you can, and that your mindset is to be 1% better today than you were yesterday.

On the projects, we expect you to work proactively with the tasks, that you support less experienced colleagues (e.g., through peer review), but also that you use your experience to advise and develop the best possible solution for the customer - even if it may not be what the customer 'wants to hear'.

Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years’ of experience developing solutions on Power Platform
  • Power Apps (canvas og model-driven)
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
  • Experience understanding code, but you do not need to be able to code yourself
  • Experience collecting data from databases, Sharepoint lists and Dataverse
  • Preferably had contact with Microsoft business applications such as Dynamics 365 or Sharepoint
  • Preparation of solution architecture
  • Can talk processes and workflows with users
  • Is a clear communicator both written and orally (Danish and English)
  • Used to working agilely based on SCRUM

Work experience

You must have experience from the consulting industry and thus be familiar with the consultant role, and if it is from a company that is part of Microsoft's partner ecosystem, this is a plus, but not a requirement. You may also have worked in a company where you have used the Microsoft Power Platform in your daily work.

In terms of education, it is an advantage to have a short or longer higher education where you to some extent have had contact with software development or the use of data. We also have self-taught consultants, so training is not a requirement.

Other (not a requirement, but an advantage if you possess)

  • You have acquired Microsoft certifications, e.g., PL100, PL200, PL400, PL900 or MB200, M400, MB600,
  • You are up to date within the explosive development within the Power Platform
  • You may have been an active part of integration and migration tasks
  • You may have participated in projects creating Apps in MS Teams
